WhatsApp, the 'popular' mobile messaging platform has more half a billion (+500,000) people checking their WhatsApp messages everyday. With features like calling (without taking credit), messaging, sending pictures, videos, and voice messaging. But of course, everything is not perfect so 'some' people such as, hackers and cybercriminals want to hack your account.
So WhatsApp Inc. updated their app 'WhatsApp' with full on end-to-end encryption for enhanced protection.
How does this work? - When you send messages nobody rather than you or the persons or chat group will see the message. The security will be so strict not even WhatsApp admins nor moderator can see the message. Imagine this.
Me: Hey have you heard about the new update lol
John: Yeah why.
John: Wait that means if I send a nude
no one will see it.
John: Hold on let me take a pic of my junk.
Me: O_O
*You left the chat*
LOL. Anyway, encryption is a very good tool for security. So go ahead update your current version of WhatsApp.
