Recently, Google updated the 'YouTube' app for iPhone and iPad on iOS 9. Adding the Slide view and the multitasking split view on iOS that firstly appeared on Android. Many users on the YouTube iOS community has longed for the features to be featured on the 'YouTube' app on iOS.
The new features include:
- Slide over and split view support
- Moved home tabs into navigation bar for iPad in landscape mode
- Fixed bug that prevented URLs in video descriptions from opening
